Helping motivated people with disabilities build skills, confidence, and a path to work

VOICE (Vocational Opportunities, Inclusion, and Career Empowerment) is a supportive program for people with disabilities who want to find work in the Lower Mainland. We help you build skills, reach your goals, and take real steps toward a career. Our team works with you to design a plan that fits your needs, interests, and strengths.

What makes VOICE different?

1. Support for your whole job journey

We help you from the very beginning of your job search all the way to staying successful at your new job. We want to make sure you feel confident every step of the way. We help with:

  • Building your resume and cover letter
  • Making a personal action plan and setting goals
  • Practicing for job interviews
  • Getting extra training and support
  • On-the-job support once you are hired

2. Four weeks of learning together

You begin with four weeks of in-person classes in a friendly group setting. During this time, you work closely with Job Specialists and Licensed Counsellors. They help you build confidence, practice workplace skills, and plan your next steps. Refreshments are provided so you can stay comfortable and focused.

3. A plan made with you

You are in charge of your own journey. We work together as a team to choose the classes, workshops, and activities that match your career goals.

4. Skills training for your success

You can join workshops on topics that matter to you. These sessions are flexible and designed to meet your needs. We cover things like:

  • Talking about your needs at work (Self-advocacy)
  • Solving problems and workplace communication
  • Managing your money (Financial literacy)
  • How to find the right job for you

5. Meet local employers

Meet and learn directly from hiring managers and guest speakers. They share real workplace tips and answer your questions. These sessions make it easier to find inclusive jobs where you can succeed.
