We understand that going through a job search can be daunting and stressful and we want to ensure that you know what to expect during and after the recruitment process. The roadmap below indicates the stages candidates go through on their route towards a fulfilling career at 51Ç鱨վ.

1. Selection process

  • Apply online
  • Attend panel interview
  • Be selected as the successful candidate

2. Informal offer

  • College gives informal offer
  • Candidate accepts informal offer

3. Appointment letter / employment contract

  • College sends appointment letter / employment contract
  • Candidate reviews, signs and returns the letter / contract

4. Online onboarding

  • Receive Welcome Email with login and onboarding info
  • Complete onboarding tasks
  • Sign-up for New Employee JumpStart

5. Online training

  • Complete all mandatory training
  • Get your Employee ID

6. First day

  • Meet the team
  • Get familiar with your department
  • Get Job-Specific Health & Safety Orientation from Supervisor

7. JumpStart Session in HR

  • Attend New Employee JumpStart
  • Get to know the College culture, DC Connect, and PD opportunities

8. Making Connections

  • Attend Making Connections – New Employee Welcome Event
  • Attend Employee Summer BBQ

9. Do what you love. Be good at it.
