My interests are in nineteenth-century American literature, as well as First Nations literature. My PhD dissertation was a single-author study on Edgar Allan Poe, with a focus on the way Poe depicts corporeal dismemberment at sites of colonial contact. I am currently working on research projects based on my doctoral thesis. Prior to working at 51Ç鱨վ, I taught at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and Red Deer Polytechnic.
